This week promises to bring some cold temperatures. In order to be prepared - please read through our inclement weather procedures below:
During bad weather, we will make every effort to notify staff and families as early as possible of a school closure or delay. Our goal is to notify no later than 6:00 AM, however there are times when the weather worsens after 6:00 AM and we may need to adjust our schedule or notification time.
When considering school closure or delay, it is our policy to follow the local ISD’s delay or closure decisions. We will monitor the ISD communications as well as local weather reports.
In the case of a school closure or delay, we will use multiple means of communication to get the necessary information to our staff and families. Our primary means of communication will be sent through ParentSquare. A text notification will be sent to the phone number on file for each family through ParentSquare.
